We Are Solid Cactus

“I’ve been in call center management for 12 years,” says Call Center Director Karen Weller, “and Solid Cactus is more fast-paced than any company I’ve ever worked for.”

Karen joined Solid Cactus in June. Her challenge: establish a call center for Solid Cactus clients. “We provide superior customer service for our clients,” she says. Karen is responsible for hiring, training and monitoring the call center team, which will grow as the call center client list grows. “From 9am to 9pm we answer client calls. We take orders. We answer specific questions for each client’s customers. Things like, ‘How much food do I feed a dog this size?’ ‘How old should a child be to fit in this chair?’ We do order tracking, telling customers where their orders are, how soon they’ll be delivered, shipping numbers and the like. We also answer customers’ email and provide live chat responses.”

Karen and her crew spend extensive time with each client reviewing their needs. Lots of products, clients and questions, and she loves it. “I like the fact that it’s different every day.”

Karen has a B.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Scranton and lives in Scranton. “I think the greatest thing for me is to come to work and see something that didn’t exist two months ago come to life,” she says.
