I played with computers ever since I was a kid,” says Application Developer Dan Matriccino. “I took a programming course in 9th grade and I knew right away this was what I wanted to do for a living.”

Dan Matriccino joined Solid Cactus in May, it’s his first job since getting a degree in Computer Science from Lock Haven, and he can’t believe his luck. “Solid Cactus is friendly and laid back, no one looks over your shoulder. I love to go to work.”

Dan is on the cutting edge at Solid Cactus. “We build applications for the Yahoo! You can choose the most economical shipper for the circumstance, rather than using only the shipper provided by the Yahoo! Store. Dan says it’s all part of the Solid Cactus team approach. “We have great programmers. Not only can they get sites up and running faster than other companies, they also know how to make the Yahoo! Store site do more for our clients.”

Solid Cactus has nearly doubled since Dan Matriccino came aboard, and he’s noticed. “When I applied to Solid Cactus, I had never heard of them. Now my friends see them in the news. Now everyone’s heard of Solid Cactus. I love it!”
