We Are Solid Cactus

"It’s cool to be on this side of the Internet, helping people design web sites that make them more money!” So says the ever-positive Sarah Ruckno about her job as a Solid Cactus E-commerce Consultant. “I always knew I wanted to work in e-commerce,” says Sarah, “and Solid Cactus is a perfect fit.”

Sarah has a degree in advertising and public relations from Penn State. She then spent two years with an Internet food company. “I love the company,” says Sarah, “but the owners are family. I wanted to stretch my wings, so I applied at Solid Cactus.”

E-commerce consultants are the main liaison between the client and the design and programming teams. “We start with a mock-up of the home page,” says Sarah, “and then move on to the section pages and item pages. We get client feedback all through the process, and it’s my job to understand and relay that information to the proper people. When everything is finished, I send them on their way to make money. It’s great!”

Sarah likes the people and the potential at Solid Cactus. “I love it,” she says. “I’ve made lots of new friends, and the people are really helpful. Everyone wants the same thing here, and people go out of their way to help you. We really are a team!” As for the future, “Solid Cactus is adding new departments, there are lots of opportunities,” says Sarah Ruckno. “I’d like to help this company grow.”
