GreekGear.com

Greekgear.com provides “personalized products for people passionate about their pursuits.”  We have over 2,500 different personalized items, everything from key rings to mouse pads, baseball caps, custom flip-flops, trailer hitch covers, coffee mugs, formal dinner/dance fluted champagne glasses, if it can identify a fraternity or sorority, we have it.  Greekgear.com went on-line in 1999, and Solid Cactus did our redesign in 2002.   Since then we’ve been in love with Solid Cactus!

 A professional look is key.  The redesign not only made us better looking; it made Greekgear.com more functional.  Yahoo! stores have limitations, and Solid Cactus was able to help us handle volume purchases.  The “click to enlarge” function is a tremendous sales asset.  The bigger the picture, the stronger the impression.   Solid Cactus set us up so that GreekGear.com adds shipping and handling information automatically.  A college kid calling at 2AM (it happens!) can order without having to talk to a human.  The easier it is to shop, the more sales you’ll make.

When Solid Cactus redesigned our site we had 3 people.  3 years later, we have 17 people in our own 10,000 square foot warehouse.  We’ve opened other specialized sites including Mychristiangear.com, Myspiritgear.com and Guidogear.com.  Naturally Solid Cactus did the designs.  If anything ever goes wrong, we know Solid Cactus will make it right.  After 6 years, we’re still growing fast!  Greekgear’s sales are up 50% over last year!  We attribute that to our on-going relationship with Solid Cactus.  Financial magazines are calling, the Today Show is calling.  Solid Cactus made us look like the big boys, and now—we ARE the big boys!
