Answering the Question…. What is Solid Cactus?

I flew into the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport Monday morning and as I was leaving the parking garage in the Solid Cactus Hummer, the guard said to me, “I see this vehicle here all the time, what is Solid Cactus?”

I thought to myself, “OK, here we go again… time to tell the Solid Cactus story.” But I didn’t, I was tired and wanted to get on my way. Instead of the extended version, I said “We build e-commerce stores” and off I went. While I was driving, I started asking myself, “What is Solid Cactus?”

We bill ourselves as a “total e-commerce solutions provider” but to the layman, that means nothing. When I talk about Solid Cactus I sum up our business pretty simply, “We do everything but pick, pack and ship your order.” But there is vagueness there as well and sometimes when I speak with customers they don’t know we offer certain services. So, “What is Solid Cactus?”

Solid Cactus is:

• An Advertising Agency where we do media buys for merchants, produce e-mail and print marketing campaigns, design and print sales collateral and catalogs and design digital ads for web advertising campaigns.
• A provider of Virtual Office solutions including inbound call management, order taking, surveying, appointment setting, e-mail management, copywriting, data entry and live managed chat for businesses of all sizes.
• A place to turn for advice on how to better run your business and how to be successful online.

Wow, that was some heavy stuff. Next time I may stick with the short version.
