Ok, those of you attending Solid Cactus Boot Camp in a few weeks, don’t get nervous, we’ll make it!

Construction on the final two former classrooms at the Solid Cactus Technology Center in Shavertown, PA has begun. Classrooms? Yes. We moved into a former elementary school in April 2008 and turned it into our new corporate headquarters. The building was completely gutted with only the facade and the gym being the last remaining indicators that this was formerly a house of education.

The area that is currently under construction is going to be a flex-space training/conference area where we will be holding our Boot Camps, company training and evening computer/Internet classes which we will be opening up to the local community. The flex-space will be separated into two rooms that could be opened up into one large area for a total capacity of 75.

Completion is scheduled for mid-September with its first use at Boot Camp scheduled for October 8 - 10, 2008. Here are some photos of what is currently going on:
