Happy Call Center Reps = Excellent Customer Service

From my writings on the blog and in our Solid Cactus magazine, eBiz Insider, you should know by now that I am a stickler for customer service. I know just how angry I get when I have to call a company and I don’t get the treatment I should be getting as a customer, which is why I work hard to instill a “customer first” way of thinking with all our team members. After all, if it weren’t for our customers, there’s no business! It doesn’t get any simpler than that. Since you’re reading this, chances are you are a business owner as well and can certainly appreciate the value of good, quality customer service.

In our Technology Center in Shavertown, PA, we have many customer facing team members including our project and account managers who are constantly on the phones with clients. But in our Wilkes-Barre, PA Call Center, customer service is king. It’s there were our staff of customer service representatives take inbound calls for hundreds of businesses where we act as their customer service department. Whether it’s taking an order, issuing a return authorization or providing more detailed product information, our call center reps do it with a smile and with service in mind. In addition to inbound calls, we have teams that do outbound, manage e-mail and live-chat and we have one team dedicated just to admnistrative tasks that our clients send over.

In our never ending quest for quality, the call center recently had a contest where the team with the highest quality score for the month of March got served a five-course dinner prepared and served by the “chief cooks and bottle washers” at the call center, Greg Kosicki and Katrina Domkowski. The winning team was the third-shift, aptly named “Cactus After Dark” which is under the supervision of Alison Wydawski. I heard there was quite a bit of delicious food along with happy, contented faces!
