Time to recognize those Cacti who go above and beyond. Team Members of the Month are picked by their department manager with the exception of administrative staff who are chosen by a company wide vote. Team Members of the Month receive recognition on the “wall of fame,” $25 in Saguaro’s bucks, a reserved parking spot, and the priceless admiration of their fellow co-workers. So without further ado, here are our exceptional Cacti for January:
Jean Lloyd, Internet Marketing Department

“Jean is an exceptional Team Leader, and she is always ready to help all Internet Marketing team members whenever they need some of her PPC wisdom and guidance. She seamlessly stepped into the role a Team Leader, and has excelled in her leadership role. Jean is extremely reliable and is always quick to follow up and go above and beyond to offer her help and expertise.”
Jessica Lisowski, Account Management

“Jessica does an exceptional job of nurturing our Clients to determine what they need to improve their sites. She has great follow thru and matches the appropriate Account Manager to the right Client ensuring that we can truly be their partner in E-Commerce success.”
Tim Whitacre, Store Programming Group

“Tim demonstrates a high level of dedication and company loyalty. Tim has had to deal with some obstacles over the last month, however, he was not intimidated by them. Instead, Tim drove harder, accepting additional challenges and taking a leading role in the process. “
Joe Domkowski, Project Management

“Over the last month Joe has stepped up to take on several large projects along with the many projects he already has. He has also showed a willingness to assist the team through process improvement and accepting additional work.”
Dan Matriccino, Software as a Service (SaaS)

“Danny has been critical in working on multiple projects simultaneously this past month. Shipping Manager billing was automated, entirely due to Danny’s efforts. In addition, Dan managed to complete some critical updates to FeedPerfect and make some contributions to CCC as well. Dan worked on his time to help with billing center and proved to be a highly versatile. Great job Danny!”

An overwhelming choice! Just before the new year, the Solid Cactus Microsoft Exchange mail server decided it was time to die. Kyle had the enormous task of getting a new server put on a plane and delivered on New Year’s Eve. He spent the New Year’s holiday and the weekend that followed building the new server and restoring everyone’s email. His fellow team members say:
“With all of the recent computer challenges, Kyle has stepped up to the plate to be as responsive as possible and to help ensure operations continue to run as smoothly as possible.”
“Kyle worked overnight during our e-mail down emergency to get it back into operational status. Aside from the obvious obstacles due to waiting for hardware to arrive, Kyle demonstrated a high level of dedication complete the mission.”

“Sue is unbelievably upbeat – she’s greets everyone with a smile and makes everyone feel welcome.”
