Recession Buster Pricing

recessIn the classic B-Movie, Plan 9 from Outer Space, The Amazing Criswell predicted that “future events like these will affect you in the future.” He couldn’t be more right. Unfortunately, my prediction for a better economy after the start of the new year hasn’t come to fruition yet and people tell me I’m going to be waiting an awfully long time before things improve. Everyone wishes they can predict the future of the economy and when things will lighten up, but until it actually happens we have a lot of work to do.

As a business owner who employs more than 150 people, I know first hand how tough things are right now. Like you, we have payroll to meet, bills to pay, commitments to keep and we keep our eye on the sales numbers every minute of the day. I talk to other business owners who are in the same boat wondering if they’re going to make it. They tell me leading shoppers to the checkout isn’t as easy as it was before… people are hanging on to their spending money instead of spending it.

When it comes to operating an e-commerce store, the biggest part of your business is getting that shopper to the checkout! Whether it be with discounted prices, free shipping, BOGO offers or with advanced features on your site such as product reviews, simpler navigation and real-time shipping rates. No matter what you’re doing, you need to do it even harder now.

With times being tough for all of us, I felt there had to be some way for us to come to the aid of our customers. After all, the people in Washington who are supposed to be working for US are really working for the people who donated to their campaigns, gave them kick-backs and lobbied to get bills passed that feather their own nests. The small businesses in America, who are the true backbone of commerce, aren’t getting anything while the big corporations get billions disguised as bailouts. Well, I have YOUR bailout!

I call it “Recession Buster Pricing” and its designed to help you take advantage of our products and services to increase your sales. Right now, you may see a feature for your store on our site and it’s something you really need and want, but the price point is more than you can afford. Instead of depriving yourself from having that feature, use the power of negotiation to tell us what you’re willing and able to pay for it. If we can do it for the price you can pay, we’ll do it! It’s as simple as that.

We want to help you capture every sale you can. If you need a redesign to do that and you want to negotiate…. bring it on. We’re all in this together, so lets help each other get through this economic crisis because I don’t think a bailout check is coming with our names on it.
