Solid Cactus Golfers

There are a few people here who like to wear baggy pants in vibrant colors with a funny hat on their head while chasing after a little white ball on lush, green grass. I just don’t get it. I tried golfing once, but after three holes I quickly discovered that I don’t have any patience for such sport. There was a lot of cursing, flinging of the clubs and the oh, so forbidden…. SHOUTING! I haven’t been back since.

I leave the golfing for the people who really like this stuff, like Carlos Sanes, Bryan Healey, John Tomkoski, Jessica Lisowski, Brad Hoppy, Mike Jozaitis and Michelle Pushefski. This happy lot spent a soggy Monday at Blue Ridge Trail participating in the Wilkes-Barre / Scranton International Airport’s Annual Golf Tournament in which Solid Cactus was the title sponsor.

Hopefully the clouds parted and the showers held off! Golfers, chime in and let us know how good (or bad) you did!
