Solid Cactus, Inc. presents workshop at 2005 Small eBusiness World

Solid Cactus, Inc., recently presented a workshop entitled “Yahoo! Solutions for Businesses” at the 2005 Small eBusiness World conference held in Chicago May 6 – 7, 2005.

Participants heard co-founder and President of Solid Cactus, Joe Palko, discuss how he and co-founder Scott Sanfilippo developed a leading on line pet store, TheFerretStore.com, in 1994 using the Yahoo! Merchant Solutions platform. He discussed the history of the company and how Solid Cactus grew out of TheFerretStore.com to become a leading developer and consultant for other medium to large size businesses.

Following Palko’s presentation, Kurt Illian, Director of Sales, explained in detail the features and benefits of the Yahoo! Merchant Solutions platform for running an e-commerce business, then fielded questions from audience members.

The two-day technology event was designed to educate small business owners and entrepreneurs on using Internet technologies to start or grow an online business.
