December 11, 2006 (Wilkes-Barre, PA) Solid Cactus, Inc., today announced the appointment of Sean Gove as chief marketing officer, effective immediately.

In this position, Mr. Gove will move from his current position as head of sales and will now be responsible for all new product development and marketing. This move for Mr. Gove is a reflection of the continued growth of Solid Cactus, which has expanded from 16 people 2 years ago to a full-time staff of over 75 today. It also reflects the evolution of Solid Cactus from store development in 2004 to order management software in 2005 to call center services and internet marketing in 2006. Sean’s new responsibilities will be bringing awareness of these new services to the existing client base as well as ensuring potential clients are being offered the right services based on where they are as merchants.

“Sean has demonstrated an uncanny leadership ability in sales,” said Solid Cactus co-founder and spokesman Scott Sanfilippo. “Now we want him to take us to the next level. Sean will head up our product development. He’ll oversee everything including marketing slicks, sales promotions and training of our clients on the new services we offer. We expect Sean to keep Solid Cactus on the cutting edge of the industry with relation to new products and services.”

Mr. Gove has years of experience in Internet programming and design having formed his own web design company, TurnAhead.com, while still in college. In 2004, Solid Cactus acquired TurnAhead.com and named Mr. Gove vice president. Since that time Mr. Gove has developed and led the Solid Cactus sales department. The company has enjoyed solid sales growth and exceptional client satisfaction under his leadership.

Mr. Gove attended Binghamton University and currently resides in Kingston, PA.
