Swingers, Sex & Tourism
That title caught your eye, didn’t it? It appears that businesses are doing “whatever it takes” to get through the “economic downturn.”
The Courier Mail in Australia is reporting that the White Cockatoo resort in North Queensland is promoting an “anything goes” hedonistic adventure in March of 2009 in an effort to boost tourism.
The resort’s owner, Tony Fox is quoted as saying “Tough economic times call for stiff measures.”
As we move into the holiday season, there’s no doubt that businesses are adopting the same attitude. As reports circulate with the latest estimated holiday sales numbers, merchants are scrambling to do whatever they can to engage the shopper and get them to buy.
Creative sales pitches and promotions are going to be key this season, what angles will you be playing off of? Post em, we’d like to know.

Oh Boy… I could have some real fun with some of my products. “Suck On Something Good This Holiday Season” “Chew On This Instead Of Smoking” hee hee.. and then the one I did use ” Pimp Out Your House For The Holidays” (thanks Scott). That tagline brought in a boatload of customers!
