Thank you Design Team!
The day started out cloudy and the forecast didn’t look much better either. This was THE day it had to rain! Afterall, we’ve been rain free for several straight days so I thought I was in the clear. Oh, I forgot to mention… today was the day I had to cook lunch for our design team. Outside. On the grill.
At 11am I made my way to the courtyard with 10 pounds of 1st cut choice filet mignon, 10 pounds of 4-6 count shrimp, a crate of sweet corn and 3 pounds of chicken.
This feast was a reward for our design team who recently logged many, many extra hours helping with what we call “blacklog assistance” and also for completing a “special assignment” designed to bring development times down.
So, like any good chef would do I put on my whites, headed out in the rain, dodged a few lightning bolts and cooked up, well, a storm.
Hats off to the design team for going the “extra mile” …. Now hit the gym and work off those extra pounds!

Scott,
Just wanted to say thank you for the feast.
I smelled the corn cobs being grilled long before the lunch and that alone awoke my thirst for trying your cooking.
After getting a taste of that corn perfectly grilled with melted butter and salt I wanted to go on but my senses were telling my that the best was still ahead and I should take it easy on that corn.
And man, was I right? It’s the first time I can say that I had great juicy and tender steaks for my lunch. Not just a steak but lets’ just say there were more than one. On top of that, the most humungous shrimps I’ve seen in my life and amazingly delicious chicken.
And it didn’t stop here. Seeing hungry people faces passing by while designers were sinking their teeth in this amazing food made me feel special and appreciated – that was like a dessert to finish the meal.
One word – priceless.
Thank you again.
