The 21st Best Place to Work in PA

In a state where there are 280,000 businesses, Solid Cactus has been named the 21st best medium size company to work for in the state of Pennsylvania. This statistic was recently released by ModernThink, a Delaware based firm, which annually ranks the top 50 large and 50 medium-size businesses. Back in early July, ModernThink sent out hundreds of anonymous surveys to the 200 companies who nominated themselves for this honor this year.

Some may say it’s because of the goodie rack, breakfast buffet, or even the nacho cheese machine. However, anyone of the 75 employees at Solid Cactus will tell you that, that’s not the only reason Solid Cactus is one of the “Best Places to Work for in PA.” John Fallon, Director of Search Marketing, will tell you it’s because, “they actually treat everybody with respect. They listen to your opinion and they care about you.” Whether it’s the food or the attitudes, it certainly “makes for a better work environment,” says Scott Sanfilippo, co-founder.
