We Are Solid Cactus

Graphic Designer Joe Karavis loves his job. “I get to do something different every day,” says Joe K. “Our clients sell every product you could think of, so work is always different.”

Joe has a hand in everything Solid Cactus will assemble to show to a client. “I do the graphics, the mock-ups, even the logo design. I love this work. I’ve been a graphic designer for 20 years.”

Joe came to Solid Cactus after years as a newspaper graphic designer and then more recently, their web expert. He also did a few years with an ad agency. Joe started at Solid Cactus as an E-commerce Consultant, but moved to Design in May. “That was always the plan.”

Everyone working at Solid Cactus has an eye on tomorrow, and for a Wilkes-Barre, PA native like Joe, the future looks promising and the present feels great. “We’re expanding like crazy,” he says. “We’ve doubled in size to 62 people just since I’ve been here, less than a year. I believe in Solid Cactus. These are talented and creative people who do great work. Not only that, they look out for their employees. They go out of their way to make us happy. The great thing is; that kind of thinking spreads. We go out of our way to make our clients happy.”

“This is the best job I’ve had,” says Joe Karavis. Joe K is doing what he loves best. And at Solid Cactus, we love that!
