Yahoo! Updates URL for Cart

Back in August 2008, Yahoo! announced that it would be retiring its old checkout system and migrating over to a new system.  Today, that system took full effect.

Today, that migration was complete.   For some Yahoo! stores, when shoppers go to add a product to cart they are greeted with the following message:

Error: order.store.yahoo.com is not a valid URL. Please point all checkout actions to order.store.yahoo.net

You have encountered a file path that is no longer valid. Please contact the store merchant to continue with your order and to report this error.

If you are receiving this message on your Yahoo! Store, Solid Cactus is here to help.  Simply visit http://cartupdate.solidcactus.com.

Hopefully, this might save someone else from making a mistake.
After receiving your email notice about the programming update, I had asked a co-worker to make sure our site wasnt\\\’t affected by the problem. After not hearing anything, my bad, I pretty much forgot about it. Thinking to check it myself, much later, I see the error message where my shopping cart should have been. Mild panic. Ok, not so mild.
I rush back to the notice email, and go through the steps for the order. (not really liking that I have to pay for this) Anyway..who do I apologize to first? When I re-checked the error notice, I realized that I had done so the first time, while in my store editor. When checked through the live site, there wasn\\\’t a problem.
