Tablets, devices are in demand for shopping
It looks like mobile devices and tablets are going to be a major shopping channel for the 2011 holiday season. According to a survey conducted by the National Retail Federation, 52% of smartphone users will use their devices to shop, conduct research, redeem coupons, and use apps to assist with their purchases. The biggest demographic that will be using these devices is young adults with 72% planning on using their phones and 86% using their tablets.
