Yahoo! Store Updates: Payment Center, Paypal Website Payments Pro and Additonal Features
Yahoo! Store is releasing new updates to help you streamline your store and check process late tomorrow night (3/22/07 PDT).
The scheduled updates will include
- An updated Paypal Checkout Button
- The creation of Payment Center (which will replace the current Payment Methods section of the store manager)
- The inclusion of Paypal Website Payments Pro (which allows for the use of Paypal as your merchant account of online credit card processing and manual transactions.)
- The ability to collapse the “other” bill address area (which presents customers with only the information they need to populate.)
- The ability to collapse sections with no input errors (which presents customers with only the inforamtion they need to populate.)
Updates 1-3 will take effect automatically on your site once you publish the order settings. Updates 4 and 5 will need to be turned on in the Advanced Settings in the Checkout Manager before the will be enabled. All of these changes can be seen in the Checkout Manager before publishing.
